Computational Sustainability and Meaningful Use

The 1st International Workshop on Emerging Technologies for Computational Sustainability and Meaningful Use (CSMU 2014) will be held on November 3-5, 2014 at Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa, Markham,Ontario, Canada.

CSMU 2014 will be the most comprehensive workshop focused on the various aspects of advances in two vital interrelated interdisciplinary fields (Sustainable Computing and Meaningful Use) both aim to apply techniques from computer science, informatizon science, cloud computing, health informatics, operations research, applied mathematics, and statistics for balancing and reforming environmental, economic, infrastructure and societal needs for sustainable development and meaningful use.

This workshop provides a chance for academic and industry professionals to discuss recent progress in these challenging areas of research and development. Furthermore, we expect that the workshop and its publications will be a trigger for further related research and technology improvements in this important subject.
